Every exploration operation (exploration in the general sense) consists of two basic stages, which are:
- A) Prospecting
- B) Exploration
A) Page-searching (acquiring preliminary information)
The first stage of the exploration stages is the prospecting stage, which, if the results are satisfactory, will be the beginning of the life of a mine. The main goal of prospecting is to search for and locate an anomaly, that is, a geological anomaly with the coordinates of a mineral deposit.
Since most deposits today are not visible at the surface, direct exploration methods must be supplemented with indirect methods.
In mining exploration, the amount and grade of mineral reserves will be determined.
